Cru visit from the University of Minnesota

The residents of The Independence Village were so blessed this week by a group of students who flew in from the University of Minnesota to volunteer during their spring break. They are a part of a campus group called Cru which is an international Christian student movement. They partnered with Resonate Church of La Marque and we were one of the many places they blessed with their time and service this last week. The residents loved their kindness, energy and playing games with them. They even did some landscaping and planted our spring garden. Thank you Cru for being our new friends. We hope you come back to visit again soon.
