Our Independence Village Girl Scout Troop and our guy residents visited the local Texas City Fire Department where a couple of fire fighters showed our residents around the fire station and how their engines and emergency equipment work. It was a fun morning of awe, wonder and learning about all the things the fire fighters do and checking out their machines, equipment and gadgets.
